Even if you don’t have sensitive skin, over-exfoliating can still cause irritation, dryness, inflammation, and even rashes, says Dr. This being said, if you have relatively ~chill~ skin (i.e., you have none of the conditions above), you can try using an exfoliating glove on your body once a week. Exfoliating gloves should also not be used on your face or on skin that’s covered in acne, folliculitis, or cuts, says dermatologist Karan Lal, MD, because they can easily spread bacteria and/or result in infection. Reminder: You absolutely should not be using an exfoliating glove if you have sensitive skin or inflammatory skin conditions (like psoriasis, eczema, or active cystic acne) since the abrasive material can trigger even more inflammation and flare-ups. So to help you choose the best exfoliating gloves for your skin type, I tested and reviewed a few of my favorites below: Easy, right? There's just one catch: Some exfoliating gloves can seriously irritate your skin barrier (especially if you're dealing with active acne breakouts, psoriasis, eczema, or keratosis pilaris). Just slip one over your hand in the shower and gently massage it over your wet skin. And my new favorite go-to? Exfoliating gloves-i.e., the easiest, laziest tool for getting ridiculously smooth skin without the mess of products.Įxfoliating gloves are exactly what they sound like: gloves that mechanically exfoliate your skin with their abrasive texture, helping to b uff away dead skin cells, break down bumps, and smooth uneven texture on your arms, legs, and butt, says board-certified dermatologist Karan Lal, MD. This is why I'm the queen of trying new exfoliating products, whether it's a body scrub, chemical exfoliant, or a cleansing brush. Fact: Few things annoy me more than splotchy self-tanner, ingrown hairs from shaving, or speckled ~ strawberry legs~ that never seem to go away.

Īll New Animated CGs are Shaded: Yep Including Mie’s new and improved BJ scene. We’re talking with a fan translation group at the moment and we’ll tell you guys more about it on a later post. But don’t expect anything yet, as there’s no other language available to display yet. Multi-Language Support: It’s now here too. Buttons have been shrunk btw, so let me know how it goes if you’re using a phone or tablet. It should be easier to type with this thing now. You can still move around keyboard by pressing the cross arrow, now located on the upper right. Enter is now a down arrow, located at the bottom right, which hides the keyboard. There’s now a Shift button, that works as a toggle to enter capitalized letters. You can still type using your physical keyboard. The Virtual Keyboard: It’s now a QWERTY type. Thankfully there wasn’t many hiccups to deal with this time around! What I usually test is the online version since that one gives me a pain whenever it’s time to put it up. I haven’t tested this build yet as this is the closest from the main build I’m working on – which should mean it should work. Ok guys, this update is a little chunkier than usual, considering the recent update of event CGs for Mie’s route was supposed to be included here. (No languages added yet.)NEW! Virtual keyboard updated!NEW! Longer dialog text supported.BUG FIX! Something about game variable values being carried over on load/new game after another game session when they’re not supposed to. NEW! Search filters in Gallery and Omake Scenario lists.īUG FIX! Sound test playback and missing BGMs.īUG FIX! Fixed up clear save game/empty save slots bug.īUG FIX! Bunch of fixes Android version should install now.NEW! 4th character route finished! Exclusive to patrons! (Only up to chapter 4 in the free demo version for now)NEW! More music Added!NEW! Updated Mie’s first SE.NEW! Multilingual support added. I don’t recommend loading M save game data on the non-M version. Normally you will not encounter this since the M version will only be available as a demo. Non-M version (the full version) can load both, but if M save is loaded, it will act as if it’s the M version until player goes back to the titlescreen. NOTE: M version can only load M save game data. Game should be able to start a New Game now if you started fresh without any save games.įIX! Fixed up save game data (May not be compatible with earlier versions) Fixed Ice Chef and Boss Lady’s chapter 3’s freeze ups.īUG FIX! Critical fix. She doesn’t look weird and dated anymore! Yay!īUG FIX! Critical fix. We’ve added new dialogue interactions between NPCs, and related to this, we’ve also fixed up the 6th character routes’ ending (as one of you fine folks pointed out, the impact wasn’t as nice as expected, sooo…) – FIX! Dialogue text fixes across all the routes and areas of the game. – NEW! A ton of feature improvements under the hood, like how SEs are organized, nested scene reader, the scenes and script, etc… Enter your name, and set your gender/pronoun choices as they are presented to you, then you quit back to the titlescreen (or play through until the credits roll.) PROTIP: To set your name and gender for these scene playthroughs, just start a new game. Now it carries over what name and gender you set in when you start a new game. – FIX! Related to the above, we fixed the bug that reset the player name and gender when playing a Gallery and Omake scenario. Some pronouns may come of weird or they haven’t been included yet, like the word (gentleman.) This feature does not alter the graphics of the scene in any way, just the dialogue. We’re going to have to check these again for the next update. This is a secret feature! So you’ll have to unlock it to access it! This is a test feature and dialogue in these parts haven’t been thoroughly edited yet. – NEW! 6th character route is open up to Chapter 4 (2 in the demo version) Sound might work in iOS browser (Online version only.) – NEW! 8th character route started! It can also suggest purchases to fill out "holes" in the library. "Genius" transmits information about the user's library to Apple anonymously, and evolves over time to enhance its recommendation system. Introduced in iTunes 8 in 2008, " Genius" can automatically generate a playlist of songs from the user's library that "go great together". The feature was later renamed "iTunes DJ", before being discontinued altogether, replaced by a simpler "Up Next" feature that notably lost some of "iTunes DJ"'s functionality. Introduced in 2004, "Party Shuffle" selected tracks to play randomly from the library, though users could press a button to skip a song and go to the next in the list. Users can enable or disable different columns, as well as change view settings. įile metadata is displayed in users' libraries in columns, including album, artist, genre, composer, and more. For self-published CDs, or those from obscure record labels, iTunes would normally only list tracks as numbered entries ("Track 1" and "Track 2") on an unnamed album by an unknown artist, requiring manual input of data. When users rip content from a CD, iTunes attempts to match songs to the Gracenote service. It uses the Gracenote music database to provide track name listings for audio CDs. iTunes supports WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless, AAC, and MP3 audio formats. The software supports importing digital audio tracks that can then be transferred to iOS devices, as well as supporting ripping content from CDs. Each track has attributes, called metadata, that can be edited by the user, including changing the name of the artist, album, and genre, year of release, artwork, among other additional settings. Unlike Windows versions for other platforms, it is more self-contained due to technical requirements for distribution on the store (not installing background helper services such as Bonjour), and is updated automatically through the store rather than using Apple Software Update. On April 26, 2018, iTunes was released on Microsoft Store for Windows 10, primarily to allow it to be installed on Windows 10 devices configured to only allow installation of software from Microsoft Store. Platform availability Īpple released iTunes for Windows on October 16, 2003. Subsequent releases of iTunes often coincided with new hardware devices, and gradually included support for new features, including "smart playlists", the iTunes Store, and new audio formats. The first version of iTunes, promotionally dubbed "World's Best and Easiest To Use Jukebox Software", was announced on January 9, 2001. The primary developers of the software moved to Apple as part of the acquisition, and simplified SoundJam's user interface, added the ability to burn CDs, and removed its recording feature and skin support. SoundJam MP, released by Casady & Greene in 1999, was renamed "iTunes" when Apple purchased it the next year. This change did not affect iTunes running on Windows or older macOS versions. Beginning with Macs running macOS Catalina and Windows 11 PCs, iTunes was replaced by separate apps, namely Music, Podcasts, and TV, with Finder and Apple Devices taking over the device management capabilities. Though well received in its early years, iTunes received increasing criticism for a bloated user experience, which incorporated features beyond its original focus on music. Since the release of iOS 5 in 2011, these devices have become less dependent on iTunes, though it can still be used to back up their contents. Onwards from 2005, Apple expanded on the core music features of iTunes with support for digital video, podcasts, e-books, and mobile apps purchased from the iOS App Store. With the 2003 addition of the iTunes Store for purchasing and downloading digital music, and a version of the program for Windows, it became a ubiquitous tool for managing music and configuring other features on Apple's line of iPod media players, which extended to the iPhone and iPad upon their introduction. iTunes' original and main focus was music, with a library offering organization and storage of Mac users' music collections. ITunes was originally announced by Apple CEO Steve Jobs on January 9, 2001. Options for sound optimizations exist, as well as ways to wirelessly share the iTunes library. Developed by Apple Inc., it is used to purchase, play, download, and organize digital multimedia, on personal computers running the macOS and Windows operating systems, and can be used to rip songs from CDs, as well as play content with the use of dynamic, smart playlists. ITunes ( / ˈ aɪ t( j) uː n z/) is a software program that acts as a media player, media library, mobile device management utility, and the client app for the iTunes Store. Founder George Arison is also confident that, unlike many startups in recent times, Shift hasn’t been overvalued, thus placing it in a better position to continue its growth. With ample funding at their disposal and $225 million in equity raised, they’re also well positioned to apply for additional funding once the future of the economy becomes clearer. With the coming months looking highly uncertain for the economy at large, many companies, including Shift, are preparing to bunker down and continue to deliver their online services to help their customers weather the storm. The fact that Shift can deliver cars for people to test drive is another key selling point in a world where fewer people will be willing to come into the dealership in person. At the same time, with the federal government slashing interest rates in light of the economic damage caused by the pandemic, which could make higher-end vehicles purchased with financing options more viable for those who have been able to keep their jobs. With the uncertainty around public health, it’s likely that more people will be avoiding public transport and ridesharing in the months and years to come.Īlso, with global recession on the horizon, Shift expects to see a rise in the sale of older used cars with more mileage. How is Shift dealing with COVID-19 Virus?ĭespite the ongoing Corvid-19 pandemic, Shift still expects to see growth this year. Since around two thirds of buyers choose financing on their purchases, this is a major source of income for Shift – about $15m on top of the $30m they make from car sale margins. Buyers can then receive an estimate of monthly repayments and interest rates and customize their orders accordingly.įor Shift, this means a commission of between $200 and $700 depending on the bank. The entire process for applying for a loan is automated, thus reducing administrative costs and increasing profit margins substantially.īuyers send all relevant information to Shift digitally, and the company will prequalify them for a loan. Here’s how Shift made 7,000 loans last year and earned $200-$700 for each oneĪ third of Shift’s revenue comes from loans, which it does in partnership with a dozen banks. That compares to around $600 billion in new cars. That’s a total revenue of near $200 million, of which between 20 and 30% is profit.ĭespite recession being all but imminent, the industry as a whole still expects that 45 million used cars will be sold in the US in 2020, representing around $750 billion. In 2019 alone, Shift managed to sell 11,500 used cars at an average price of $17,000. The added convenience enables them to make a margin averaging 15%. This differs from most dealers, since sellers generally get a better price, while buyers get to have the car brought to them for a test-run before they decide whether to make a commitment. While this means a smaller margin for Shift, a third of their profits come from additional offers, such as financing, warranty, and other attached products and services. This usually turns out to be higher than the value sellers would get from a conventional trade-in and very close to what they’d be able to get by selling a used vehicle themselves. How Shift makes money with built-in 15% marginįor sellers, Shift uses a cutting-edge algorithm, which draws from numerous data points, to determine the value of the car. Nathan Latka sat down and spoke to Shift CEO George Arison this week to discuss revenue, margins, virus effects, and more: They’ll also handle the paperwork needed for financing the whole process. The automotive industry is no exception.Įstablished in 2013 and selling its first car in 2014, Shift is one of the most innovative and successful players in the vertical. In order to win the game, the player must build all 4 suits within the tableau from the king to the ace. The remaining 3 cards in the deck are set face-down and squared in the stock. Except for the 12 hidden cards, 3 in each of the first 4 piles (or first 3 piles in Easy Scorpion Solitaire for a total of 9 hidden cards), all cards are face-up and visible. When the game starts, a pile of 7 cards is dealt into each of the 7 tableau columns. Scorpion Solitaire is played with a 52-card deck of standard playing cards. Scorpion Solitaire's goal is to build all 4 ordered suits from king down to ace in the tableau, each of which is automatically sent to a foundation as it's completed. However, the Easy Scorpion Solitaire variant is much easier. The game has a fair bit of luck in it and is not very easy to beat.
